Fish Tacos w/ Pickled Vegetables and Sriracha Crema

Another delivery by plated provided the ingredients for this flavorful dish.

The ingredients are as follows:

radishes, shallot, cilantro, lime, red wine vinegar, sugar, sour cream, sriracha, corn tortillas, tilapia, calla oil, salt & pepper

Be sure to halve the lime, and make wedges with the remainder.

Then, you get to pickle the vegetables. Combine red wine vinegar and sugar with radishes and shallot. Leave at room temperature for at least 15 minutes or up to 3 days in the fridge. I left it for about 2 days in the fridge.


Then, it is time to make the crema. Combine the juice of 1/2 a lime, sour cream, and sriracha.


Warm tortillas, and cook the tilapia. 20140627_190651

And voila! Fish tacos! The sriracha creme and pickled vegetables really add a twist to this dish.20140627_192406
